Skyjack Delivers 100,000 th Scissor Lift to Ahern Equipment

April 21, 2004 -It was all smiles as Don Ahern, owner of Ahern Equipment Rentals, Las Vegas , Nev. , took delivery last week of Skyjack's 100,000th scissor lift. Lloyd Spalding, president of Skyjack Inc., Guelph , Ontario , to deliver the custom unit in person.

Skyjack model SJIII 3226, Serial No.271739, sported a few special touches, including sparkling metal flake paint, matching decals, and chrome hardware. One of Skyjack's bigger customers, Ahern has bought thousands of scissor lifts from the manufacturer over the years.

Skyjack delivered its 10,000 th unit in 1999, about 13 years after starting production. "It only took us five years to sell the last 90,000 machines," pointed out Dave Stewart, Skyjack vice president of sales and marketing.
