December 20, 2006 - Since UpRight, Fresno, Calif., was acquired by the UK-based Tanfield Group last spring, the 60-year-old manufacturer has received solid support from its new owner and made a number of company changes, including reverting back to the UpRight USA name, increasing output of its UL vertical personnel lifts, and recruiting several new employees across the board. December 20, 2006 - Phoenix, Ariz.-based Marco Crane has received the largest all-terrain crane available from Manitowoc Crane Group, the 550-ton Grove GMK7550. The GMK7550 offers a five-section, 197-foot main boom, with MEGAFORM shaping and TWIN-LOCK boom-pinning system. It can also be configured with a 230-foot boom extension, allowing a maximum tip height of 430 feet.
