 August 22, 2007 - Introduced by Xtreme Manufacturing, Las Vegas, Nev., in January 2006, the XRM 1254 was the newest product participating in the Telehandler Showcase, which featured 12 machines with 10,000- to 11,000-pound capacities and 50- to 59-foot lift heights. At 12,000 pounds, this telehandler has 1,000 pounds more capacity than other machines at the event. Salem, N.H. , August 2007 -
OSHA is investigating an incident in which a scissor lift tipped over backward and fell to the ground, injuring a 20-year-old construction worker. The man and another co-worker were sanding an exterior wall of a gym from the platform, which was elevated about two stories, and the scissor lift began to rock back and forth.
