Miramar, Fla., February 2008 -
A 50-year-old construction worker suffered a back injury when a steel beam toppled 75 feet onto the aerial lift he was working in, a fire-rescue spokesperson said. The steel beam, estimated to be 25 feet long and 4 feet wide, became detached from a crane and struck the platform that two workers were standing in.
