The Lift and Access Showcase returns in 2014 on Oct. 29-30 at the Springhill Suites by Marriott at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This event is unlike any other in the lifting equipment industry. OEMs will demonstrate their products and discuss their features and benefits. Products may be tested to validate the specifications against their printed literature, and their performance may be measured against other machines in the product class.
This year, the event will re-focus exclusively on machine demonstrations and walk-around presentations. Typically, the event is attended by the engineers and product managers for the products being presented. In addition to the editors from Lift and Access, other editors from leading construction publications will be present. Here they can get a hands-on education about the products being demonstrated. This exposure educates and allows them to better articulate information about your product and company.
This year's theme is Green Equipment. The following machine presentations will be made:
Low-Level Access: Self-propelled aerial lifts with platform heights up to 15 ft.
Mast Boom Lifts: Mast lifts with platform heights up to 28 ft.
Rough-Terrain/All-Terrain Electric or Hybrid Scissor Lifts: Self-propelled rough-terrain or all-terrain scissor lifts with electric or hybrid power, focusing on 2WD or 4WD units with platform heights from 26 to 33 ft.
Other Hybrid Lifting Equipment: Hybrid-powered aerial lifts, cranes, or telehandlers.
Also at the event, a special presentation on hybrid technology will be made by a leading industry expert, and hybrid trends and issues will be discussed. Plus, winners of the access equipment category of the LLEAP Awards will be announced and presented awards.
