Altec’s brand new TDA58 is a rugged compact tracked lift designed to stand up to the rigors of tree-care work and other heavy-duty use. It offers 58-ft. platform height, 36’2” horizontal reach, 400-lb. capacity, and 360° continuous rotation. Stowed for travel, it measures 20’11” long, 10’0” high, and just 2’11” wide. It can travel through a standard gate. Although it weighs 13,820 lbs., its ground pressure on tracks is just 7.5 psi.

The rugged outriggers are made of plate steel, have sturdy guards protecting the hydraulic cylinders, and provide a 17’2  x 17’2” footprint. Swiveling, pressure-sensing outrigger feet make setting up on uneven ground easy, and the outrigger system can level the machine on front-rear slopes of 20° and side slopes to 16°.

The three-section boom consists of two articulating lower sections and a telescoping upper section. All three sections are controlled independently for maximum bucket maneuverability. The bucket uses Altec’s intuitive Iso-Grip controls, and the machine is insulated to 46 kV.
