Empire Crane Expands Sales Team to Focus on Magni Rotating Telehandlers

Empire Crane added Gene DiCosta to its New England sales team to focus specifically on Magni rotating telehandlers.

Based in Boston, DiCosta will serve customers in Massachusetts and all of New England. He has a background in both internal and external sales. DiCosta says he believes the most important aspect of sales is communicating effectively with customers to meet their needs.

DiCosta and co-territory salesman Justin Melvin together will be focusing on Magni rotating telehandlers, but will also be representing Empire’s other lines, including Terex cranes, Manitex boom trucks, Tadano Mantis crawlers, Kobelco crawler cranes, Wolffkran tower cranes, and Shuttlelift carrydecks.

“There is infinite potential in the Boston market with the industry booming, and the technology that powers today’s cranes,” said Luke Lonergan, owner and vice president of Empire Crane. “When I first started, Boston was my territory, and I remember it being as busy as can be. Gene [DiCosta] is a bright young salesman with a lot of motivation and drive. We are confident that he will be a great asset to our team and will provide top-notch service to our new and existing customers.”

Empire Crane Company was founded by Paul and Luke Lonergan in 2002. They are an authorized dealer for Terex, Tadano Mantis, Kobelco Crawler Cranes, Shuttlelift carry deck cranes, Manitex Boom Trucks, Wolffkran Tower Cranes, and Magni Telehandlers. Empire Crane Company offers crane sales, parts, service, and rentals at their three branches in Syracuse, New York; Bridgewater, New Jersey; and Boston.
