R&B Engineering Co. Ltd., Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka, Japan, now offers its Mighty Crane line of mini-crawler cranes in the United States.

The first model available here is the CR285D, offering 6,100-pound maximum capacity and 28-foot maximum lift height. Able to fit through a standard 32-inch doorway, the CR285D measures 9’7” long, 2’9.5” wide, and 4’11” high for travel and weighs 3,858 pounds. Its deployed outriggers provide an 11’3” x 10’ 5” base. Power options include diesel or electric.

R&B’s U.S. agent, Steve Spence of Kumu International Sales, Boise, Idaho, says Mighty Cranes are ideal for dozens of industrial, construction, and other applications, including lifting pumps, machinery, piping, windows for high-rise buildings, mining equipment, and even graveyard headstones.

ISO9001:2008 / JIS Q 9001/2008 certified, R&B is now developing cranes that meet CE and ANSI certification standards and offer the latest in mini-crawler crane technology. R&B expects to add a higher-capacity model to its U.S. offerings later this year or early next.

R&B is currently looking for a national distributor in the United States. Interested companies can contact R&B’s U.S. agent Steven Spence.
