New Cab and Controls Upgrade Manitex 30-Ton Truck-Mounted Crane

Manitex, Inc., Georgetown, Texas, has made a major improvement to its TC30112S truck mounted crane.

The TC300 now incorporates Manitex's new deluxe cab that can tilt up to 20° for optimal operator comfort and that has Manitex's latest pilot-operated controls and software for easy and comfortable operation.

The tilting cab gives the operator a better view of high-boom angles while reducing fatigue in high-reach applications like setting loads on multi-story building roofs, placing roofing materials, spotting HVAC equipment, and setting trusses.

The new cab also offers 18 in. more leg room and additional storage behind the operator’s seat.

Pilot operated and equipped with a new software system, the controls look and feel like those on Manitex's 40124S, so operators will find them familiar.

The new cab's standard features include:
Heated seat and diesel heater
Four single-axis, low-effort, pilot-operated hydraulic controls
Hirschmann I-Scale load-moment indicator
12V DC outlet, USB port, and cup holder
E-coat cab finish that protects against corrosion
Pop-out rear window
Hinged top window with wiper/washer and hatch guard
Windshield wiper with spray nozzle and pump
Main display that now can show engine information
