Snorkel Launches its First Telehandler at ConExpo

Snorkel expanded its range of products by introducing its first telehandler during ConExpo 2017.

The Snorkel SR5519 can lift up to 5,500 lbs. (2,494kg) and can reach heights of up to 19 ft. (5.79m). Although designed to be competitively priced, the SR5519 is still rich on features, including a new, more-spacious cab with a more-comfortable seat. A large touchscreen interface has been incorporated into the cab for easy access to load charts and operation manuals.

Designed to Handle Rough Terrain

Powered by a 74-hp Deutz 2.9 liter diesel engine with hydrostatic drive, the SR5519 has front limited slip differential as standard to improve traction on rough terrain. Compact dimensions make this model ideal for using in tight spaces, particularly on construction jobsites or in rental applications.

The SR5519 has been engineered to weigh just 10,400 lbs. unloaded, permitting it to be used in worksites that require low floor loadings, such as parking garages. The lift is equipped with a 48-in. standard carriage.

Availability

The SR5519 is the first model in a new family of Snorkel telehandlers, designed from the ground up at Snorkel’s global headquarters in Henderson, Nev. The SR5519 will be available to order in North America in Quarter 4, 2017.
