Strategies for Managing a Safe, Productive and Cost Effective Fleet

Strategies for Managing a Safe, Productive and Cost Effective Fleet will be the focus of presentations by fleet executives, manufacturer representatives and industry experts during the educational program being planned for the 65th annual Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference.

The EUFMC Board of Directors develops the annual conference General Session based on input from attendees. Member surveys also help develop discussion topics for the highly popular EUFMC Roundtables where fleet executives address common challenges by sharing best practices and working with suppliers to find solutions.

The EUFMC Utility Equipment Demonstration features more than 60 educational and technical presentations by suppliers detailing the design features, specifications, capabilities and benefits of their latest technologies for electric utilities, and an equipment show that is the site of over 60 displays.

More than 120 fleet representatives and over 325 representatives from 101 manufacturers and service providers attended EUFMC in 2017. A full Education Report from the conference is available on the conference web site.

“EUFMC continues to serve as an important and valuable forum for addressing challenges and exchanging ideas,” said Mike Allison, EUFMC President and Director Design and Tech Support Services at Duke Energy. “The conference educational program, equipment exhibits and networking opportunities, are the reasons that record numbers of fleet executives from electric utilities, cooperatives and contractors from across North America attend EUFMC.”
