BKT USA, Inc., the Akron, Ohio, subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries Limited headquartered in Mumbai, India, has hired Mike Connor as head of OE sales.
Connor brings more than 25 years of management experience in the off-highway tire and wheel industry, having held positions as general manager of Mefro Wheels USA and president/COO of Redco Wheel in Pennsylvania. He has also introduced and sold tires as an original-equipment sales manager, calling on tier-one manufacturers like CNH, Kubota, Volvo, and John Deere.
"Mike brings extensive expertise and vision which will aid in creating additional sales and developing our OE partnerships”, said Rajiv Poddar, joint managing director of Balkrishna Industries Ltd. India. “ We strongly feel he is an important asset to our company”.
Connor holds a bachelor's of degree from Rutgers University and lives in York, Pa.
