Franklin Equipment was founded in early 2008 by four partners—Gary Gabriel, Troy Gabriel, Tom Richardson, and Tony Repeta.
Since 2015, Franklin has grown from three stores in Columbus, Newcomerstown, and Dublin, Ohio, to add five new locations in Westerville, Ohio, Indianapolis, Ind., Milwaukee, Wis., Dayton, Ohio, and most recently Cincinnati, Ohio.

Franklin Equipment's rental fleet includes telehandlers, scissor lifts, backhoes, skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, light equipment, wheel loaders, and a wide range of attachments along with handheld equipment and safety gear.
The full lines of Wacker Neuson construction equipment, Skyjack aerial equipment, and Chicago Pneumatic are available for rent at all eight Franklin Equipment stores.
The company's customers encompass everyone from contractors to homeowners. On-site service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week by certified technicians at all eight locations.
