Genie Reconditioning Moving from Waco to Oklahoma City | Construction News

At the end of December, Terex AWP will relocate its Genie Fleet Reconditioning Services from Waco, Texas, to the company's renovated and enlarged facility in Oklahoma City (OKC), Okla.

The company will begin accepting units for reconditioning at the OKC facility in 2017.

Terex AWP says it will communicate more details about the updated process in the near future.

The OKC plant is already home to the manufacturing of Terex crawler cranes and to a Terex training center for employees, distributors, and customers. In addition, Terex is now relocating production of all-terrain and rough-terrain cranes that were previously made in Waverly, Iowa, to the Oklahoma plant.

Bob Bartley, senior director of product support and reconditioning for Genie products, has asked that as of November 3, 2016, customers stop shipping aerial lifts to Terex's Waco facility for reconditioning. Bartley said that units already at the facility will continue to be refurbished and repaired there through December 8, 2016.

Bartley is the contact for all inquiries and requests about Terex AWP reconditioning. He can be reached by phone at 425-556-8658 or by email at Bob.Bartley@terex.com.
