Heartland Construction Division, part of Heartland Communications Group Inc., Fort Dodge, Iowa, will be producing a full-featured publication called Equipment Connection, which will focus on ground-engaging equipment and support products.
Published 10 times per year, Equipment Connection will provide North American construction equipment owners and users with the information necessary to make informed operational, maintenance, and purchasing decisions.
"Key equipment categories will be featured each issue not only in articles, but we will also produce a monthly equipment guide in the issue that will allow readers to compare specifications for ground-engaging machines like skid steer loaders, excavators, and trenchers," said Katie Parrish, editorial director for Heartland Construction Division. "These charts will help users select the proper equipment for the job for efficiency and safety."
Heartland Communications Group Inc. has produced Contractors Hot Line for nearly 50 years. The printed edition of the new Equipment Connection will be mailed with its sister publication to more than 22,000 construction equipment owners, operators, and fleet managers. It will also be distributed in electronic format to Heartland Construction Division's digital subscribers.
"We are offering Contractors Hot Line readers something more than just a place to buy and sell equipment," said Barbara Benton, publisher of Heartland Construction Division's Construction Group. "Equipment Connection's comparison of equivalent machines will provide a better understanding of current products available, and a directory of related attachments is also in every issue to show the versatility of each product offering." She added that dealers also will be highlighted in the issue.
