Omaha Standard Palfinger Makes Organizational Changes

Omaha Standard Palfinger (OSP), Council Bluffs, Iowa, has made several personnel changes to support of the company's growth initiatives.

Mark Whaley has been named president. He joined the company in 2008 as vice president of marketing and dales and was later named executive vice president. Since joining the company, he has focused on end-user and distributor relations and has also played a key role in the development and launch of new product lines.

Robby Simard has been named executive vice president of operations. He joined OSP in 2007 and was instrumental in the transformation of the company's manufacturing facility and implementation of the company's strategic plan.

Other newly named personnel include Eric Kluver as finance director, for Palfinger Asia Pacific; and Wolfgang Steinhart, vice president of finance of OSP and North America Group finance manager. Jim Brown, who currently serves as OSP product manager, will now also oversee OSP's design engineering staff. He played a key role in the company's new product development and launch activities.
