Pettibone Redesigns, Increases Capacity of Telehandler Line

Pettibone, Baraga, Mich., has announced the 1,000-pound capacity up-rating of its complete telehandler line. The up-rating has been verified by ANSI B56.6 tilt table stability testing.

The idea for increased capacities originated with dealers who wanted to know if the company could make the machines more competitive, according to Dan Blondeau, product manager. “We were confident that with a few modest design changes the machines were capable of more, so we made the changes, ran the tests, and proved it,” Blondeau said. “We've built machines that have a tested and verified additional 1,000 pounds capacity. That means our customers get an even better, more capable and more versatile machine. That's a win-win situation for everyone.”

Pettibone representatives and the newly up-rated equipment, including the company's forthcoming Traverse T1157, will be present at the upcoming World of Concrete show in Las Vegas, Jan. 21-25.
