ReachMaster, Inc., Kingwood, Texas, has been named the exclusive distributor in the United States and Canada for the Italian-made Hinowa LL63 and LL46 track-mounted aerial lifts. According to President Ebbe Christenson, the Hinowa machines are competitively priced, include well-known, proven components, and fulfill a niche in ReachMaster's product line. The company now offers compact aerial lifts with platform heights ranging from 38 to 132 feet.

The smaller of the two new machines is the Hinowa LL46 compact track-mounted aerial lift, which has a maximum platform height of 33.3 feet and 17.8-foot maximum outreach when the platform capacity is 440 pounds. Stowed dimensions are 2.6'x13.2'x6.68', and overall weight is 3,075 pounds. This unit is narrow enough to fit through a standard doorway. Pressure under tracks is a light 5.8 psi.

Standard features include emergency lowering system, air and 110-volt power to the platform, start and stop of the main motor from the basket, removable remote control, load limiting device, double block valve on the stabilizers, stabilization warning lights, and widening undercarriage.

At The Rental Show, Hinowa LL63 made its North American debut. This machine features a maximum platform height of 52.5 feet and maximum outreach of 15.7 feet with a 440-pound platform capacity.
