Ritchie Bros.' McLeod to Retire from Company, Become Consultant | Construction News

Industrial auctioneering company Ritchie Bros. has announced that Rob McLeod, chief business development officer, will retire from the company Sept. 30.

After 23 years with Ritchie Bros., in numerous geographies and roles, most recently as chief business development officer, and prior to that chief financial officer, McLeod is looking to begin a new phase of his career. 

He will continue his board involvement with not-for-profit organizations, while seeking opportunities to share his global experience sitting on public and private company boards. He is also planning to launch a consulting practice, of which Ritchie Bros. will be one of his first engagements.

"Rob has been an excellent business partner and a very smart and capable executive, who is highly regarded in the company as a true team player. He has made significant contributions to Ritchie Bros. throughout his career. We wish him the very best in the future," said Ravi Saligram, CEO of Ritchie Bros.
