Illinois-based Runnion Equipment, has opened a new location in Caledonia, Wis. Runnion is southern Wisconsin’s factory authorized dealer for the National Crane line of boom trucks. Runnion’s new location both sells and rents cranes.

During an open house at the new Caledonia store, Runnion customers had a chance to try out new National Crane’s new NBT 55 boom truck. “We were thrilled with the turnout at our open house,” said Mike Prochot, president, Runnion Equipment.

Pat Runnion, CEO, added, “It was great to be able to introduce our new branch while letting customers experience the new National Crane NBT55 boom truck. We’re excited to offer the same quality parts, service and equipment in Wisconsin that our customers in Illinois now expect.”

Available in 50- and 55-ton versions, the NBT55 is the highest-capacity boom truck that National Crane offers. The crane is the first boom truck in the market with fully integrated machine control and an LMI. It also has a new system that senses outrigger beam position to help in load chart selection.
