Sellick Breaks Ground for New Factory | Construction News

Sellick Equipment Ltd. has broken ground for a new, multi-million-dollar, 120,000-sq.-ft. factory in Harrow, Ontario, Canada.

“In order to compete on a global scale, we needed to expand and build a state-of-the-art plant” said President Howard Sellick, who participated in the groundbreaking with his 97-year-old father, Walter Sellick, brother and vice president David Sellick, and systems manager Colin Sellick.

Sellick Equipment has manufactured rough-terrain and truck-mounted forklifts for more than 47 years to serve a variety of industries, including building-supply yards and engineered wood products, automotive recycling, oil-field services, and mining and military applications.

In recent years, the company has introduced a new generation of forklifts featuring enhanced ergonomics, environmentally-friendly diesel engines, and heavier lifting capacities.

Sellick products are supported by a nationwide dealer network providing superior parts and service needs.
