Trico Lift recently attended a fall prevention seminar that featured both classroom and hands-on training for aerial work platform safety standards including fall protection, equipment inspections, and operator training. Around 80 attendees participated in the program hosted by  Madison Risk Group (MRG) at the FallProof Systems headquarters in Trenton, N.J. Hiliary Holloway, Trico safety manager, and Chris Venezia, King of Prussia, Penn., branch manager were instructors.

“Trico Lift realizes the importance and increased emphasis on aerial work platform safety. More importantly, we also recognize the comprehensive consequences of failure−both personally and economically.  It’s something we emphasize on a daily basis. We want to provide existing and potential customers with the information they need to think and work safely, which includes educating the industry on the differences between training and familiarization. This seminar provided us with an opportunity to do just that," said Venezia.

The seminar included a special presentation by Martin Davis of OSHA, in conjunction with OSHA’s National Emphasis Program on Fall Protection.
