Truck's Boom Hits Overpass

Springfield, Ill., July 2012—The crane boom mounted on the rear of a delivery truck hit a metal overpass bridge as the truck drove beneath it. The impact scattered debris over the road and the vehicle behind the truck. The truck’s driver said he must have forgotten to lower the boom after his previous delivery. The fire department was called to clear hydraulic fluid from the road, but the bridge was not damaged and nobody was injured. – www.sj-r.com
