TVH Presents New Collision-Avoidance Sensor | Construction News

TVH in the Americas (TVH), a leading provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and industrial equipment industry, has added a high-quality collision sensor to its lineup of safety products. Not only can the sensor detect machinery like forklifts and pallet lifts; it also detects pedestrians, which can dramatically reduce collisions and injuries.

The high-tech sensor is programmed to detect motion within 25 ft. in both directions using state-of-the-art infrared motion detectors. Highly visible LED lights on both sides begin to flash when the sensor detects motion coming from both directions to warn both the forklift drivers and pedestrians of an potential collision.

Integrated magnet mounts, supplied with the sensor, makes mounting on metal racking easy. Also included is a tether for added support and D-cell alkaline batteries that can last up to 7 years.

TVH offers more than 7.8 million products from 11 locations in the Americas.
