Xtreme Manufacturing, Las Vegas, Nev., has rolled out its new model XR6538, a 65,000-lb. capacity telescopic-boom telehandler designed for heavy-duty applications.

The big new telehandler made its debut at the ConExpo trade show in Las Vegas last week.

The XR6538 provides some truly impressive capacities. With the boom fully retracted, it will lift 65,000 pounds to a height of 26 ft. Maximum lifting height is 38’2”, and the XR6538 can lift 18,000 lbs. to that elevation. Its maximum forward reach is 22 ft. with 15,000-lb. capacity.

The big lifter weighs in at 96,000 lbs., measures 11’3” wide, 11’7” tall with boom stowed, and 27’9” long to the fork face. It offers 20.5” of ground clearance, has a 15’8” wheelbase, and a 24’6” inside turning radius.

The unit is powered by a 300-hp diesel engine and has a hydraulic system that pumps up to 92 gpm at 4,000 psi.

Options and accessories include an enclosed cab with heater or heater and air conditioner, work lights, flashing amber strobe light, steel fenders, fifth-wheel attachment, a boom-maintenance stand, swivel lifting hook, plus many more.

Its attachments and accessories include: fork-positioning carriages, a swing carriage, tilt carriage, personnel platform, sling mount, bucket, pole grapple carriage, grapple bucket, and concrete hopper.
