March 29, 2019 - The SPW16SPL is the first unit developed by Lift-A-Loft to provide omni-directional steering. The unit was specifically manufactured for a customer in the aircraft manufacturing business, who had tight working parameters and needed the versatility of omni-directional positioning. The SPW can drive parallel, but then be changed to a crab steering mode that will allow it to position easily between two work stands. This feature improves safety and makes the entire operation much easier and quicker to accomplish.

Skyjack signed an exclusive deal with MacFarlands Industrial to be the sole supplier of all DC electric scissor lifts for their new Moncton, New Brunswick equipment rental location.

MacFarlands has been renting throughout Atlantic Canada for over 50 years, and, according to the company, is excited to stock their fleet with Canadian-made aerial equipment. 

Custom Equipment Introduces 10-Ft. Push-Around Scissor Lift

Custom Equipment Hy-Brid PA 1030 scissor lift

Custom Equipment introduced the Hy-Brid PA-1030 push-around lift as a safer and more productive alternative to ladders and scaffolding.

The model enables users to manually maneuver the unit into place and hydraulically raise and lower to the desired work height. 

The PA-1030 features a 10-ft. platform height and a 16-ft. working height. The platform is 41-in. long by 20.5-in. wide, and the total stowed height is only 69 in.

Genie to Launch High-Reach Electric Slab Scissor Lift at Bauma

Genie will debut its electric GS-4655 scissor lift at Bauma in Munich, set for April 8-14, 2019.

The eco-friendly model comes in a compact, lightweight package and is equipped with the latest generation of fully sealed AC electric drive motors. This new model will be available globally in Q3 2019.

Terex Relocates Denver Area Service Center to New Facility

The Terex Service Center serving the Denver market has relocated to Commerce City, Colorado, providing improved accessibility for its customers in its Utilities and AWP divisions.

The move is 12 miles from the previous location and eases access from the I-70 and I-270 highway corridor.

Merlo P50.18 Panoramic Telehandler

Merlo introduced its new P50.18Plus high capacity telehandler, part of its Panoramic range.

It offers a lift height of 58’5”, a reach of 44 ft., and load capacity of 11,000 lbs., with the added benefit of independent, front axle mounted stabilizers. Boom side shift and frame leveling are standard and can be engaged with or without stabilizers in use.
