A compact lift with precision maneuverability, the ZT-1630 is the tallest offering from Hy-Brid Lifts, delivering a 16-foot platform height and a working height of 22 feet.

Honnen Equipment Opens New Wyoming Facility

April 22, 2019 - Honnen Equipment has relocated to a new facility in Gillette, Wyoming, to accommodate growth, while increasing space to provide even more service for customers.

Honnen is an authorized dealer for JLG telehandlers and other equipment. The new facility allows the company to provide in-shop service for all makes and manufacturers, and the increased parts warehouse allows for better parts fill on wear parts and repair parts.

Perkins introduced new technologies focused on hybrid and electric power solutions to meet the specific needs of construction machines at 2019 Bauma in Munich.

The range of technologies are developed to add real value to OEMs as they design the next generation of off-highway machines. The hybrid-electric, hybrid-mechanical, and hybrid-hydraulic power technologies complement Perkins existing 0.5- to 18-liter range of diesel engines.

Elliott Equipment Company introduced its new V60 material handling aerial work platform, featuring a 63-ft. working height and 1,000-lb. material handling capacity.

The V60 mounts on a non-CDL, 19,000-lb. GVWR chassis for increased driver flexibility. It provides 38 ft. of working side reach and a 30-in. by 40-in. top mounted platform with a 500-lb. capacity material handling jib. The jib quickly converts into a boom tip winch with 1,000-lb. capacity when operated from the ground controls.

JLG, Dana Partner on Electric Axle for Aerial Lifts

JLG Industries and Dana Incorporated announced their collaboration at the 2019 Bauma in Munich to develop an advanced Spicer Electrified e-Axle for the next generation of MEWPs as part of JLG's electrification initiative. 

The Spicer Electrified e-Axle features an optimized combination of electrified drive components packaged in a configuration that reduces power losses by up to 20% when compared with traditional diesel-powered drivetrains.

Capitol Investment Corp. to Purchase Nesco

April 9, 2019 - Capitol Investment Corp. announced it is buying Nesco, a provider of specialty rental equipment to the electric utility, telecom, and rail end-markets.  

Nesco offers a nationwide rental fleet of approximately 4,000 units to a diverse customer base for the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and installation of critical infrastructure assets including electric lines, telecommunications networks, and rail systems. Nesco also offers service, parts, tools, and accessories needed to fully equip crews for activity in the field. 

MEC Aerial Work Platforms Hires New Director
