Custom Equipment Unveils Prototype Push-Around Scissor Lift

Access platform manufacturer Custom Equipment, West Bend, Wis., unveiled the prototype of the newest push-around scissor lift in its Hy-Brid family of products during The Rental Show in Las Vegas, Nev. The Hy-Brid HB-P527 is a compact, lightweight, push-around lift designed to work in tight spaces.

Although final dimensions, weights, and other data are still subject to change before a final version goes into production later this year, the HB-P527 prototype at the show stood 27 in. wide, by 41 in. long, and just 64 in. tall when stowed. It offers 5-ft. maximum platform height, 500-lb. platform capacity, zero-turn capability, and an overall weight of just 600 lbs.

The HB-P527 was one of three prototype lifts that Custom Equipment had on display in its booth at the show. The other two were the battery-powered HB-830 and HB-1230.
