April 4, 2019 - The International Access Federation (IPAF) released a new guide to help companies and individuals planning to use, demonstrate or display MEWPs at an exhibition, trade fair, or other such event.
These shows can present a challenging environment in which to operate a MEWP, and special consideration is required when displaying or demonstrating at such events.
Risks are increased due to multiple exhibitors and MEWPs in close proximity in unfamiliar surroundings, movement of the public, and demonstrations to people who may be unfamiliar with working at height.
The new guidance document is available free to download in PDF format in English using the link below, and will also soon be available in other languages including French, German, Spanish and simplified Chinese.
