Haulotte’s Diagnostic App Now on Google Play, App Store

Haulotte’s Diag, a free diagnostic application that allows wireless access for maintenance technicians to program, troubleshoot, calibrate, and generally diagnose nearly all Haulotte machines with their own devices, is now available for download on Apple and Android devices. 

The app aims to reduce intervention time in the event of breakdown and improve productivity by allowing technicians to find the right repair solution in all circumstances.

Caldwell, RUD Group Team Up for North American Market

Caldwell and the RUD Group announced they are uniting their sales and marketing activities in the North American market for their material handling and lifting devices within a common organization.

This partnership means they will be able to offer a complete range of products that retains their recognized brand names, including Caldwell lifting equipment, Renfroe clamps, and RUD lifting and material handling solutions from a single source. In addition to the range of products, the partnership will extend and improve support services.

Haulotte Introduces First Boom Lifts in Electric-Powered Shift of Machines

Haulotte announced at Intermat that the company will be changing its focus to developing primarily electric-powered lifting and material handling equipment, introducing its first battery-operated articulating boom lifts as part of its “Pulseo” generation of machines.

New IPAF Safety Campaign for MEWPs Focuses on Planning Ahead

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) launched a campaign at Intermat in Paris to educate users of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) about the importance of planning ahead for safety when conducting temporary work at height.

IPAF’s safety campaign for 2018-19 outlines why operators and managers should carry out full risk assessments, choose the correct equipment for the job, conduct site and machinery inspections, use trained and familiarized operators under proper supervision, and implement adequate segregation from other plant machinery and traffic.

Magni: New Rotating Telehandler Offers Highest Lifting Capacity for Category

Magni introduced its newest rotating telehandler, the RTH 8.25 SH, at Intermat in Paris, claiming it offers the category’s heaviest lifting capacity in the world at 17,600 lbs.

The lifting capacity is 4,400 lbs. more than the RTH 6.46 SH, which hit the market in 2017.

The 8.25 SH features a maximum lifting height of 81 ft., a maximum forward reach of 69 ft., and a total unladen weight of 52,910 lbs.

NORCROSS, Ga. – Skyjack’s new compact telescopic handler introduces the high-torque, 75-hp, Tier 4 Final Deutz TCD 2.2 L3 diesel engine. 

Both the SJ519 TH telescopic handler and the Deutz engine debuted at the 2018 ARA Rental Show in New Orleans.

Liebherr, Magni Partner on Slewing Drives for Telehandlers

The Liebherr Components division and Magni Telescopic Handlers Srl signed an agreement for the delivery of drives for Magni machines.

Liebherr will introduce its three-stage slewing drives to the telehandler market, which will enhance the precision and stability of RTH machines.
