JLG Parent Company President Wins Top CEO Award

MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — JLG parent company Oshkosh Corporation announced that its president and CEO, Wilson Jones, won a Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award honoring the Top CEOs in 2018.

This is the fourth national award for the company under Jones’ leadership in 2018.

MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — JLG Industries Inc. launched a BIM library on its website.

BIM (building information modelling) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives architecture and construction professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure.

For rental companies, a major advantage of BIM is that, at a very early stage, the equipment required at a jobsite can be identified and its transportation planned. This will allow the right product is delivered at the right time to complete the work at hand.

German aerial work platform manufacturer Ruthmann is expanding its presence in North America.

The company has established its own subsidiary Ruthmann North America L.P. and plans to continue to develop its presence in the North American market along with its two long-standing sales and service partners, Time Manufacturing and ReachMaster Inc.

Perkins Engines Company Limited, based in Peterborough, United Kingdom, appointed Steve Ferguson as president.

The appointment was announced by Ramin Younessi, who had been Perkins president since 2013. Younessi has been promoted to group president of Caterpillar’s Energy & Transportation division.

H&E Opens Branch in Aledo, Texas

H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) has opened a new branch in Aledo, Texas. The new facility is H&E’s 16th in Texas and 89th nationwide.

The new branch is at 104 BPR Lane. It provides full service to customers in the western Dallas-Fort-Worth area.

The 23,840-sq.-ft. facility sits on three and a half acres with a fully-fenced yard. It holds offices, a parts warehouse, and a repair shop with eight bays. The facility can repair general industrial and construction equipment.

Xtreme, Snorkel Name New Chief Manufacturing Officer

HENDERSON, Nev. - Xtreme Manufacturing and Snorkel promoted John Gill to the newly created role of chief manufacturing officer (CMO).

Gill will provide direction at an executive level overseeing all manufacturing operations. He will report directly to Xtreme Manufacturing & Snorkel CEO Matthew Elvin.

Previously, Gill served as director of manufacturing operations based at the Snorkel facility in the U.K., after joining the business in November 2016.
