March 10, 2020 ― Manitou Group has introduced a comprehensive range of connected solutions to meet the needs of the construction industry at ConExpo in Las Vegas, including two new work platforms for the North American market and a new Manitou telehandler.

March 11, 2020 -  Haulotte used the occasion of the 2020 ConExpo show in Las Vegas to introduce the newest telescopic machine in their rough-terrain boom range, the HT46 RTJ.

The HT46 RTJ is a 46-ft. telescopic boom that is both designed and manufactured in Archbold, Ohio. It features an updated design utilizing mechanical axles, which allows for a smaller engine while still maintaining the rough-terrain performance of a larger engine.

H&E Opens New Alabama Facility

Effective March 2, H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) announced the opening of a new branch in Bessemer, Alabama, serving the Birmingham market.

The new location is at 806 Labarge Drive, Bessemer, Alabama. The 26,500-sq.-ft. facility sits on 5.5 acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse, and a repair shop with 10 service bays. The facility is capable of servicing a variety of construction and general industrial equipment. It joins the existing H&E crane facility in serving the Birmingham area and is the fifth full-service Alabama branch.

Snorkel Introduces ‘Mega’ Boom, Scissor Lifts at 2020 ConExpo

Snorkel is launching a number of new products at the 2020 ConExpo-Con/Agg, including a 210-ft. “mega” boom lift and a 4,000-lb. capacity “mega” scissor lift.

Snorkel claims its 2100SJ boom lift will break records with a maximum working height of up to 216 ft., a horizontal outreach up to 100 ft., and the best-in-class working envelope with an area volume of 5.48 million ft.3 Snorkel is accepting pre-orders at the show with deliveries scheduled for early 2021.

Hy-Brid Lifts Boasts First ZT-1630 Order

Hy-Brid Lifts delivered the first order of ZT-1630 lifts to Advantage Rental Inc., a division of Scott Electric.

The ZT-1630 is part of Hy-Brid Lifts’ Zero-Turn Series, which was recently introduced as part of their next generation of low-level, all-purpose lifts. The rental center placed an order for the new models soon after their release and has since experienced positive customer feedback.
