The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) released the schedule for IPAF Innovate 2018, its new, interactive event set for Oct. 16-17 in the Houston area, with MEWP and MCWP industry leaders facilitating 10 collaborative workshops where attendees will work together to address common problems.

Rouse: MEWP, Telehandler Values Continue to Grow

The August Equipment Report by Rouse Services found that aerial equipment retail values are continuing to improve this year, and telehandler values are experiencing a prolonged period of growth.

According to the report, aerial equipment auction values have flattened, but both retail and auction values of telehandlers are on an upward trajectory since February 2017, with occasional flat periods.

Terex AWP, Genie Update Products to Comply with New California Requirements

REDMOND, Wash.– Terex AWP, driven by the Genie brand, has updated its products and parts sold in California to meet new requirements of the state’s Proposition 65 (Prop 65) that go in effect Aug. 30.

Under Prop 65, businesses that sell new or used products and parts into California are required to warn about potential chemical hazards, including chemicals known to the state to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm in the products/parts they purchase, in their homes, workplaces, or that are released into the environment.

ACME Lift Company Joins with Hitachi to Offer Earthmoving Equipment

MESA, Ariz. — ACME Lift Co. (ACME) partnered with Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd. (HCM) to add its earthmoving equipment to ACME’s fleet, which will be made available through ACME’s proprietary re-rental operations to equipment rental companies across North America.

HCM acquired a 33.3% equity position in ACME, and the rental company has restructured its balance sheet to reduce its debt service costs and provide liquidity to fund its future fleet growth and expansion plans.

Test Out New Dinolift 92RXT Boom Lift at RBG Event

RAYMOND, N.H. – RBG will host a demo event Sept. 7-8 at its New Hampshire facility for the new Dinolift 92RXT boom lift, which just arrived in North America.

The open house will allow attendees to get their hands on the new 4x4 lightweight self-propelled unit, and RBG will have their own factory-trained technicians there, as well as Dinolift engineers and technicians, to answer any questions about the machine.

All Access Equipment to Host Open House

All Access Equipment, located in Wilmington, Mass., is hosting its first open house on Sept. 15.

The facility, located 20 minutes north of Boston, will be open to visitors to check out what the aerial and material handling equipment company has to offer.

The day’s activities will include operator demos, training, aerial rescue demonstrations, and tips and tricks classes. All Access will also provide food, games, giveaways, and more.

Hy-Brid Lifts Hires Southeast Territory Manager

RICHFIELD, Wis. – Custom Equipment LLC welcomed Dave Sluis as its Southeast U.S. territory manager.

Sluis is focusing on continuing the growth and channel development of Hy-Brid Lifts, Custom Equipment’s line of lightweight low-level scissor lifts.

“There is a lot of growth happening in that part of the county,” said Dan Schneider, vice president of sales of Custom Equipment. “Dave’s experience in this industry and strong leadership abilities are just what we need to ensure we’re meeting the needs of contractors in that area.”

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Applied Machinery Sales (AMS) announced it is growing its material handling product lineup with the introduction of AIRO MEWPs to the U.S. market.

AMS will distribute a wide range of AIRO’s aerial platform models across five categories for indoor and outdoor use: scissor, vertical mast, spider, telescopic, and articulating lifts. Most models are available in either diesel or electric power. Rough terrain versions are available across model lines as well.
