Known for its three brands—Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang—the group’s action reinforces the value of its Mustang product range offering in all territories and the reputation of the Manitou Group. 

The deployment of Mustang by Manitou was initiated at the end of July on all continents in order to bring this value to dealers and users as soon as possible.

Dieci’s Icarus 9.44S telehandler, now available in North America, offers 9,000 lbs. capacity and 44-ft. reach with a 112-hp Kubota engine.

The machine includes wireless remote control to promote safe operation in the basket. Two basket options are available, with 660 lbs. and 1,400 lbs. capacity. 

The platform can rotate 90 degrees side by side, and it can extend from 6 ft. to 12 ft., giving operators a wide area to work.

The positive air shut off system, available on JLG and SkyTrak telehandlers, is ideal for applications where flammable materials could potentially be drawn into the air intake system, resulting in potential engine damage.

Dieci unveiled two new telehandlers at Intermat in Paris, a fixed Icarus 50.18 model and a rotating Pegasus 50.26 model.

Known as the I11.60 for the U.S. market, the 50.18 features a new cab with increased visibility and a new chassis with a modular development that brings a standardization of its components to reduce maintenance costs. It includes a low-noise 85.1-kW Kubota engine, new hydraulic system, and new Dieci software for its hydrostatic transmission with full electronic control.

JCB Eliminates Aftertreatment From 12K-Lb. Telehandler

SAVANNAH, Ga. — JCB introduced its 512-56 Loadall telescopic handler with a 74-hp JCB EcoMAX engine, claiming it is the world’s first 12,000-lb. telehandler that requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF), no diesel engine fluid (DEF), and no other engine aftertreatment. 

The new 74-hp 512-56 telehandler incorporates the high-torque 74-hp JCB EcoMAX engine from the company’s 510-56 telehandler, with enhancements to achieve 14% more available power and an 11% increase in power-to-weight ratio.
