Driver Killed, Passengers Not Injured when Car Rear-Ends Truck Crane | Daily Construction News

Smyrna, Ga., January 2013—The driver of a passenger car was killed but three children in the vehicle were not injured when the driver ran into the rear end of a truck crane that was stopped in traffic on an interstate highway on-ramp. According to police, after striking the truck, the car rolled backwards down the ramp and stopped after rolling down the embankment between the interstate and ramp. The driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The crane driver was not injured in the accident. – www.smyrna.patch.com
