EUFMC Announces Celebrity and Keynote Speakers

Retired football coach and ESPN analyst Lou Holtz will address attendees at the Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC), which will be held June 19-22, 2011 in Williamsburg, Va.  Holtz will use his experience and humor to help attendees learn to assess their strengths, work as a team, and embrace the values that can help improve their organizations.

Aptly called “the greatest motivator of our time,” Holtz had a 26-year career of inspiring players and motivating them to be winners. He currently brings his experience to ESPN as an analyst for the network’s college football coverage. He is also the author of several best-selling books and has produced three highly acclaimed motivational videos.

Mike Sole, vice president of government affairs at Florida Power & Light, will be the utility keynote speaker.  EUFMC will also feature presentations on fleet management, technology and industry issues, including: Utilization of Benchmarking Data to Define Success; Acquisition; Maintenance; Parts and Funding Strategies; Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles; Fleet Hybrid Experience; Legislation and Regulations Impacting Fleets; New Standards for Cranes/Digger Derricks; 2010 Emissions – Fleet Experience and Strategies.
