Gehl’s VitalTrac Monitors Equipment Performance

The VitalTRAC fluid analysis program from Gehl Co., West Bend, Wis., is a preventative monitoring tool that can protect equipment owners from expensive equipment down time by monitoring performance and component life on line.

“The VitalTRAC fluid analysis program helps to determine the root cause of an engine failure, and may even prevent unnecessary installation of new parts on an engine that is likely to have those parts fail again,” said Michael Jerred, Gehl customer satisfaction manager. “Even greater value can be achieved by consistently using the program to monitor and help extend the life of the engine and other equipment systems.”

By using the program to routinely test engine oils, coolants, hydraulic oils, gear oils and fuel, in conjunction with a regimented preventative maintenance program, customers can expect to see a wide range of benefits, including extended machine and component life; optimized fluid change intervals; additional “uptime” during critical work periods; proactive prevention of equipment failure; and increased resale value.
