Genie Introduces New Boom Lifts, Updates Mast Lifts at ARA Show

Genie introduced its next generation of its telescopic boom lifts with the launch of the S-60 J boom lift at the 2020 ARA Show.

The company also unveiled its new Z-45 FE hybrid articulating boom lift and updated its GR, QS, and GRC vertical mast lifts to meet the new ANSI A92.20 design standards.

All models will be available globally.

The new Genie S-60 J telescopic boom is designed to offer operators essential performance needed to get work done at height. It offers an unrestricted platform capacity of 660 lbs. with 6-ft. jib, a 16,650-lb. operating weight and compact chassis design, a platform height of 60’ 10” and horizontal reach of 40’ 6” and 1’ 10” of ground clearance to clear obstacles.

The Genie Z-45 FE boom features an unrestricted range of motion and a maximum lift capacity of 660 lbs. While operating in “hybrid” mode, the Genie Z-45 FE boom lift utilizes a 24.8-hp Kubota D1105 Tier 4 Final engine-powered generator to maintain the state of charge of the batteries. This mechanically controlled engine has no after-treatment or low-sulphur fuel requirements. Because it requires 30% less fuel than typical 49-hp diesel machines, the model can run for a full shift on an overnight battery charge.

Updates to the Genie vertical mast lifts will include Genie Smart Link dual zone controller and load sense technology.
