H&E Equipment Services Promotes Brockway and Burr within Crane Division

H&E Equipment Services, Baton Rouge, La., has promoted John Brockway to senior vice president of cranes, and Cary Burr to vice president of crane sales. Brockway will focus on manufacturer relationships and growth strategies, while Burr will concentrate on sales force management and key customer development.

Brockway has more than 34 years of experience in the crane industry. He is a second-generation crane professional who joined H&E in 1999 as a sales manager in Dallas and recently relocated to the company’s corporate headquarters in Baton Rouge to assume his new responsibilities.

Burr spent nearly two decades in various sales roles within H&E, including a sales internship in 1995, inside sales in 1996, and construction equipment field sales in 1997. He was promoted to crane sales territory manager in 1999. His new position greatly expands his responsibilities to oversee all sales of Manitowoc Crane Group products, including Manitowoc lattice boom cranes, Grove hydraulic cranes and National Boom Trucks, and associated products.
