I and I Sling to Host Inspection Course

I and I Sling Inc., Knoxville, Tenn. will host Inspection 301, a two-day qualified inspector training course, December 7-8, 2010. This two day course from the Rigging Institute will provide participants with information on sling and rigging hardware types, their correct applications, and how to identify fabricated sling assemblies.

Attendees will participate in the hands-on inspection of field damaged synthetic web, synthetic round, wire rope, alloy chain, and wire mesh slings, rigging hardware and below-the-hook lifting devices.  Participants will be given a written and practical evaluation that will verify the inspector’s ability to competently inspect slings and rigging hardware upon completion of the course.
