IPAF Schedules First Regional Conference | Construction News

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is hosting a one-day regional conference for members and their customers on Wednesday, January 22, 2015, in Chicago, Ill.

This is the first in a series of regional conferences IPAF is planning to hold in various locations throughout North America during 2015.

IPAF is a not-for-profit international organization focused on improving safe use of aerial work platforms and mast-climbing work platforms worldwide.

Topic highlights of the Chicago regional conference include:

Fall Protection as it Relates to AWPs, presented by Gary Riley, safety education representative, NES Rentals and IPAF senior instructor.

The Breakfast of Safety Champions!  Practice and Coaching, presented by Sue Rudnick, director of human resource development, NES Rentals.

An Industry Standards Update, presented by Tony Groat, managing director, IPAF North America.

Selecting the Right Equipment for the Job,  presented by a representative from Skyjack.

Lowering Your Workers Comp Liability through Electro-diagnostic Functional Assessments, presented by Jeanne Miller, Esq.

What's Your AWP Problem? in which a panel of industry experts answers  questions from the audience.

Registration costs $50 per person, and each registered attendee will receive a voucher to attend an AWP for Managers course, free (a $100 value).
