Linde Material Handling-North America Corp., Summerville, S.C., a subsidiary of Linde Material Handling GmbH, will showcase several of its diesel-powered forklift trucks at Precast 2011 (booth 222), to be held at the Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, N.C., January 27-29, 2011.
The featured hydrostatic models have capacities ranging from 5,000 pounds (H25) to 17,500 pounds (H70) and are ideal for heavyweight applications required for the precast concrete industry, said Linde.
The original Linde Hydrostatic Drive eliminates the gearbox, clutch, differential or conventional brakes, resulting in fewer moving parts to be lubricated or replaced because of wear. Additionally, the low rpm, high-torque diesel engines perfectly match the drive systems with their hydraulic requirements.
Designed to ensure optimum environmental conditions for long, stress-free operational working hours, the centered, forward positioned, shock-mounted floating operators’ compartments have integrated overhead guards and have been impact tested.
