Man & Material Lift Engineering Launches Explosion-Proof Material Handlers

Man & Material Lift Engineering, Cudahy, Wis., has introduced a line of explosion-proof material-handling equipment rated for Class I Division 1 Group D hazardous environments. The machines include straddle stackers, counterbalanced walk-behind forklifts, straddle reach truck, and pallet trucks.

The EX walk-behind forklift is an alternative a sit-down forklift, and because MLE’s counterbalanced walk-behind forklifts do not straddle loads, they lifting capacity ranging from 1,500 to 4,000 pounds, depending on the vehicle configuration.

MLE’s EX straddle reach truck combines the tight turning advantages of a straddle truck with the versatility of a counterbalanced truck. The walk-behind reach trucks are ideal for side-loading trailers, general material handling, or navigating tight areas with the ability tot right angle stack a standard 40”x48” pallet in an aisle as narrow as 84 inches. The EX straddle reach trucks have a 2,000 to 3,000-pound capacity, depending on vehicle configuration, and the heavy-duty pantograph reach mechanism features a 24-inch extension.

The EX pallet trucks feature a 4,500-pound capacity, and it is designed for facilities where load handling is needed at the ground level.
