Vacuum technology specialist Schmalz Inc., Raleigh, N.C., is celebrating is its 10th year in business.
Founded in February 1999 as a U.S. subsidiary of German-based J.Schmalz GmbH, Schmalz started with five employees in an 1,800 square-foot facility. Today the company employs 24 people and recently purchased a 20,000 square-foot building in North Raleigh, which is the biggest investment in the company’s history.
