Stauff Group has acquired Voswinkel, one of the world's largest producers of quick-release hydraulic couplings.
Founded in Germany in 1928, Voswinkel also develops and produces a comprehensive range of hydraulic hose fittings – particularly for high-pressure applications – as well as custom-designed piping.
Voswinkel equipment is used primarily for construction equipment, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicles.
Pooling both companies' business activities and merging the product ranges creates the opportunity of offering distributors, original equipment manufacturers, and other customers an increasingly complete package of pipework components for fluid power applications from a single source, thereby strengthening both companies' long-term positions in the market.
As a member of the Stauff Group, Voswinkel now has access to Stauff's global network for the distribution of its own products and solutions. Both companies are already cooperating very successfully in some of these markets.
Voswinkel is an independent company within the Stauff Group and will retain its character as a medium-sized company led by the existing management. Voswinkel will continue to operate under its corporate name, which is a well-known and established brand in the industry for many decades.
