Telehandler Veteran Mark Sichi Passes Away | Construction News

Mark Sichi, 61, a veteran of the telehandler industry, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017, as he completed a workout at a gym. He is survived by a daughter, two sons, and five grandchildren.

During 15 years at Xtreme Manufacturing, Sichi was a vital member of the sales team, handling many key accounts. He then moved into telehandler product development, where he provided valuable market knowledge and technical insight into the design of new equipment for both Xtreme and Snorkel.  

Sichi also shared his vast experience through training sessions at The Academy at Ahern for team members from the Ahern family of companies, for customers, and for dealers.

He was well known for his product training rodeos, where he would make sure that all trainees got hands-on experience with the equipment.

Sichi touched the lives of many people in the Ahern family of companies, as well as in the entire industry. He will be remembered as kind, charismatic, and optimistic, and always willing to mentor and support others to deliver the best results possible.

A funeral mass took place Saturday, July 1, in Cotati, Calif. Messages of condolence can be sent to 711 West School St., Cotati, CA 94931.
