Worker Electrocuted when Crane Hits High-Voltage Line | Daily Construction News

Knoxville, Tenn.—December 2012—A worker was electrocuted when a crane or its load hit a high-voltage electrical line during construction of a wastewater treatment plant. The local fire department took the victim to a hospital, where he died. Fire department officials said it appeared that workers were lifting a piece of metal with a crane when something came into contact with power lines. Investigators weren't sure exactly what hit the power lines. – www.wbir.com
