ZoomBoom Starts Shipping Tier 3-Compliant Telehandlers

Last week at The Rental Show, CareLift Equipment Ltd., Breslau, Ontario, displayed four telehandler models, including the 20,000-pound capacity ZoomBoom ZB20044 • its first telehandler available with a Tier 3 engine.

According to Dave Bristow, vice president of sales and marketing, California's retail customer demands for telehandlers with Tier 3 engines prompted CareLift to start building machines that meet the new engine compliancy laws. Both the 20,000-pound capacity ZB20032 and ZB20044 telehandlers are being produced with 160-hp Cummins engines. Its first Tier 3-compliant unit will be shipped this month to Coastline Equipment in Sacramento, Calif.

In other news, CareLift has updated the electrical wiring across its telehandler product line. Its full ZoomBoom range now features plug-n-go harnesses, which were previously hardwired.
