SAVANNAH, Ga. — JCB introduced its 512-56 Loadall telescopic handler with a 74-hp JCB EcoMAX engine, claiming it is the world’s first 12,000-lb. telehandler that requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF), no diesel engine fluid (DEF), and no other engine aftertreatment.

The new 74-hp 512-56 telehandler incorporates the high-torque 74-hp JCB EcoMAX engine from the company’s 510-56 telehandler, with enhancements to achieve 14% more available power and an 11% increase in power-to-weight ratio.
