Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium to Feature Two Mega Machine Categories

Two product classes have been selected for review at the Lift and Access Showcase & Symposium, which will take place Oct. 24-25 at the Ritchie Bros. auction facility in Orlando, Fla. Guy Ramsey, Maximum Capacity Media president, said that mega boom lifts and mega telescopic handlers will be the main focus at this year’s expanded Showcase.

The TL49J trailer-mounted aerial lift from Snorkel, Elwood, Kan., got its start when it was introduced by UpRight about 10 years ago. Subsequently, both UpRight and Snorkel were acquired by the U.K.-based Tanfield Group, and the TL Series trailer-mounted boom lifts continued to be branded under the UpRight name until Tanfield announced that all aerial work platforms would be brought under the Snorkel umbrella in North America in 2009.

Snorkel International, Elwood, Kan., introduced the AB46JE electric boom lift in spring 2008, which complements the AB46JRT rough-terrain boom lift. The AB46JE offers features synonymous with the Snorkel brand, such as a simplistic design, easy maintenance, and common components throughout the product line.
