Snorkel Shows New Aerials for North America at The Rental Show

Snorkel debuted two new machines for the North American market last week at The Rental Show.

The Snorkel S3970RT scissor lift, which was previewed at Bauma, is now ANSI certified and available to order in the United States. Built on Snorkel’s SRT chassis, this compact RT scissor has a maximum platform height of 37'8" but measures only 5'10" wide and 10'10" long. With a lift capacity of 771 lbs. and a roll-out deck extension for extra reach, the S3970RT is ideal for working in confined spaces.

Snorkel is launching three new global products at Bauma 2013, including a compact RT scissor lift, a low-level access machine, and a self-propelled mast boom lift.

 

The S3970RT compact rough-terrain scissor lift is designed for working in confined spaces, such as in between buildings. Built on Snorkel’s SRT chassis, the S3970RT provides a maximum platform height of 11.5m (39ft) but is only 1.77m (70ins) wide.

 

Introduced in 2005, the Snorkel S3246 scissor lift features simple controls and a robust design that keeps maintenance costs low and utilization high. Ideal for scissor lift rental, this product can be used in scissor lift training and scissor lift safety courses.
